Daddy's writing
We are calling this story Daddy's writing as he is writing this bit.
I have still got a bit of a chesty cough, it's not a cold but it is my lungs adjusting to the new plumbing. My doggy Chester is now snoring and I don't like the noise, but it is nice to have him back home.
My legs are still a bit weak, but I have managed to walk to the park and I have had a few visitors which has been lovely and really perked me up. I was sick before going to Toys R Us on Saturday though, it must have been the excitement but it worried my mummy a bit.
I am now a lot brighter as the sedatives have worn off, but I think I have got post traumatic stress syndrome (my mummy has been reading the side effects of children's heart surgery), I am very scared of flies now and terrified if my little brother lets go of my mummy or daddy's hand when he is walking to the park!
I was visited by the Macclesfield hospital community nurses at the weekend, and my sats were 92-95! They thought the machine was broken, in a good way!! But my fingernails are pink and my toenails are pink, my mummy was very very happy!!!

Hello Hannah
it sounds like you are coming along really well. Next week we are going to start writing a story about you in class called Hannah's Surprise it will be our version of Handa's surprise we can't wait to show you it. Its the Rose Queen this weekend so I hope it does not rain! Love from
Mrs Williamson
PS Do you need some reading books?
Hi Hannah
Sounds like Ben isn't too keen on his sleep!!! Never mind, I'm sure he will get back to a nice routine and you can get to sleep earlier when everything has settled down. Lovely to hear you are doing so well. Enjoy the rest of the summer at home before you become a year 2. I have been to school this morning again for a visit ready for September and we have played bingo with letters. It was great fun and I gave my brother Joshua a hug when I spotted him in the playground. I know how to ruin his street cred!!! Ha Ha Ha!
Take care Hannah and hope to see you when you are much stronger.

Hi Hannah,
You don't know me that well but I am in reception with Mrs Cumberland. My mummy heard about the brave journey you have gone through and it touched all of our hearts. My little sister Daisy was very poorly at Christmas with meningococcal septicaemia and was also in Intensive Care but at Manchester Childrens's hospital. I think my mummy and daddy aged over night and still have wobbles even thinking about it. 2 very different stories but equally very emotional and upsetting. I am so pleased you are starting to feel better. I can only imagine how this is making your mummy and daddy feel. I look forward to seeing you back at school. I will send you alittle 'something' to keep you smiling. This will probably come via Benjamin's mummy melissa. All our love, Henry & Daisy Hunter and their Mummy & Daddy Fiona and Jon xxxxxxxxx
