The day started on a high, laughing gas for breakfast which made me all giggly and happy. I was carried to theatre at half eight by my mummy and was busy waving happily to my daddy. It was a long day but I appeared on intensive care at six o clock and completely suprised everybody by behaving impeccibly, I do like to keep everyone on their toes!
My surgeon explained the operation went well and he did what we had agreed and I am now pink! I still have my chest open, which is a bit undignified for a lady, and the doctors are trying to keep me knocked out, but I did manage to wave my arm a bit and open my eyes!
I have been looked after today by Alice, Lynn, Julie, Pauline and Michelle as well as lots of theatre staff.

What a superstar you are, but we knew that anyway, we didn't need confirmation! We are absolutely thrilled that everything has gone according to plan. Hope that things continue as they should and you begin to get back to yourself again, only pinker!!!
We are thinking of you lots and are very proud of you - We think you were very good by being well behaved on the all important day, but just remember you are the boss and when you wake up, ensure you show them who is in charge!

Hi Hannah
We are so happy to hear about your successful operation! What fantastic news! We can't wait to see your new pinkness when you are feeling better. I am personally so happy to hear that, like me, you are addicted to "In The Night Garden"!! We will have to talk plinky plonks, ninky nonks and pontipines when I see you! Lots of love to you and your Mummy and Daddy
