Today I have been a snowflake in my school nativity play. I have been learning my songs for weeks and I really loved performing, I got to go on stage once to sing and I absolutely loved it, my daddy says he has never seen a smile so big on my face!
Benjamin has started to learn to climb the stairs so we now have to have a gate at the bottom and the top of our stairs, we never had one of them when I was a tiny baby, he is a bit of a handful!
I have had a very busy weekend, I went for a sleepover at my Grandma and Grandads house all by myself so I could help them put up their Christmas tree, it is really big. Our tree is very small this year, it has to stand on the coffee table in the corner with barriers so that Benjamin doesn’t pull it over and hurt himself, my mummy and daddy say they spend enough time in hospitals without Benjamin cutting himself or something from a pretty bauble! The tree is really pretty and we have some lights outside on the tree which are really pretty and a santa please stop here sign.....I can’t wait for Christmas.
I went to church on Sunday with my mummy and joined in the nativity play, I didn’t dress up though, I really like going to church, my daddy says my nana would be very proud! My daddy hasn’t been playing football much over the last couple of weeks, I have been investigating and I think something strange is going on, my mummy keeps saying something about hoping Benjamin will behave better when he grows up she won’t say why????? Must be a secret!
I also went to Prestbury street party this week on Sunday with my Daddy and Benjamin and my Granny and my Grumpy. It was very busy but very pretty, I had a hot dog and it was cooked by Jim McDonald from Coronation Street from the tele, it was very nice so it was. Benjamin managed to lose his shoe when we were eating our hotdogs, he was in the rucksack which my daddy carries him around in and was very excited about seeing Jim so he was, we couldn’t find the shoe so my poor brother had to go home with one shoe, poor little boy. My mummy managed to find it in the morning though near the church, my daddy was very relieved as he didn’t have to pay for a very expensive hot dog!

Monday 21st November
I have been to Alder Hey today to see my consultant, he wanted to tell me and my mummy and my daddy about the results from the Catheter, he says that they are leaving me alone for another six months and that I haven’t got to have an operation yet, I am not sure what operation he is talking about but my mummy and my daddy seemed to be very happy. We went to the charity office as well to pay in some money that had been given to my Grandad as donations because my nana has gone to heaven, thank you to everyone who has given money, it will be well received in Alder Hey and will be put to good use.
Also, my friend Alfie who was in hospital with me when he was a tiny baby and I was a tiny baby went to Alder Hey to see his consultant and he has been given the all clear for another year so hopefully he can have a lovely Christmas with his mummy and daddy and sisters as well!
On the way home we went to Toys For Us again, this time I got a Minnie dress for dressing up in, it is soooo sweet, all Pink and spotty and gorgeous, I love dressing up.
I have asked Farmer Christmas (my mummy keeps saying Father Christmas but I don’t know why) for a Rapunzel dress, a baby Rapunzel doll, a talking Buzz Lightyear and a talking Jessie for Christmas and I have been a really good girl!
My baby brother Benjamin has started to crawl, he follows me everywhere and wants to play with my toys all the time which I am not very impressed about, he throws all my figures everywhere, tries to pull my hair and chases my little doggie Chester around the kitchen trying to pull his hair, he even tries to drink water from Chester’s bowl but my mummy always stops him! My daddy says he is dreading when he starts to walk!

Monday 14th November
I have been to Alder Hey this week for a catheter, I had to stay in hospital on the top of K2 all night. I had to get up last Tuesday at 5:30am so that I could have some breakfast as I was having a general anethestic for the Catheter so I wasn’t allowed to eat after 6am. Even my brother Benjamin wasn’t up, my daddy didn’t get up either, he said it was far too early so my mummy made me some toast which was nice.
I had to wait until 2 ‘o’ clock for my catheter, my mummy took me into the theatre and I had to wear a mask so that I could go to sleep quickly, my mummy always takes me in, my daddy says that mummy is more gentle than him so she should take me in.
As I am four and now a big girl that goes to school and can count to twenty all by myself, my mummy and daddy have been talking to me about my heart, they said that I was very poorly when I was a tiny baby and I had to go in an ambulance. My daddy says my friend Grace’s daddy has to go in ambulances quite a lot at football because he has sprained his ankle or his back or his finger! The catheter is a little camera that goes inside my heart and checks that everything is working properly and takes some pressure measurements.
When I woke up on the top of K2, my consultant showed my daddy the pictures of my heart, he was very excited and now things he is a heart surgeon, but I don’t think I will let him near me! I was sick quite a lot when I woke up, I am always sick when I have had a general anesthetic, I did get a new Disney DVD though, Rapunzel which is sooo good!
I got to go home on Wednesday morning and as usual I went to Toys For Us on the way home, I got myself a Rapunzel doll to play with, she is really nice and has got really long hair.

Monday 7th November
I nearly went to a bonfire party at Tytherington club on Saturday, I was very excited all day and I think my daddy was very very excited. At 5:30pm we got all dressed up, my daddy put on two pairs of socks, two pairs of trousers, a vest, two T-shirts, a jumper, a fleece and a coat. As well as that he had a woolly hat AND gloves, he says it is always cold on bonfire night. I wore my coat and a hat and gloves.
We started walking to the club but we didn’t get very far, a firework went off in somebody’s back garden, it was very loud and scary and my daddy started to cry and wanted to go home (or at least that is my story). So we turned around and went home and I watched my daddy play with his sparklers through the window and watched Strictly Come Dancing instead, I love all the swishy dresses!
