Monday 12th December

Today I have been a snowflake in my school nativity play. I have been learning my songs for weeks and I really loved performing, I got to go on stage once to sing and I absolutely loved it, my daddy says he has never seen a smile so big on my face!

Benjamin has started to learn to climb the stairs so we now have to have a gate at the bottom and the top of our stairs, we never had one of them when I was a tiny baby, he is a bit of a handful!

I have had a very busy weekend, I went for a sleepover at my Grandma and Grandads house all by myself so I could help them put up their Christmas tree, it is really big. Our tree is very small this year, it has to stand on the coffee table in the corner with barriers so that Benjamin doesn’t pull it over and hurt himself, my mummy and daddy say they spend enough time in hospitals without Benjamin cutting himself or something from a pretty bauble! The tree is really pretty and we have some lights outside on the tree which are really pretty and a santa please stop here sign.....I can’t wait for Christmas.

I went to church on Sunday with my mummy and joined in the nativity play, I didn’t dress up though, I really like going to church, my daddy says my nana would be very proud! My daddy hasn’t been playing football much over the last couple of weeks, I have been investigating and I think something strange is going on, my mummy keeps saying something about hoping Benjamin will behave better when he grows up she won’t say why????? Must be a secret!

I also went to Prestbury street party this week on Sunday with my Daddy and Benjamin and my Granny and my Grumpy. It was very busy but very pretty, I had a hot dog and it was cooked by Jim McDonald from Coronation Street from the tele, it was very nice so it was. Benjamin managed to lose his shoe when we were eating our hotdogs, he was in the rucksack which my daddy carries him around in and was very excited about seeing Jim so he was, we couldn’t find the shoe so my poor brother had to go home with one shoe, poor little boy. My mummy managed to find it in the morning though near the church, my daddy was very relieved as he didn’t have to pay for a very expensive hot dog!
