Today has been a stressful day! It started with my local rival going home, he is not really my rival more my friend, he has recovered from his operation and is well enough to leave the top of K2. I am very happy for him and I have his mobile number so I can arrange to meet him.
THEN the doctors lost the plot! This morning's meeting was focusing upon a spot on my chin. A SPOT? If it was not embarrassing enough already, they then discussed it at length out loud so all the other babies on the ward could hear. I will never live it down! I am very worried in case it doesn't clear up in time for the weekend. One of the doctors wanted to squeeze it, the other doctor didn't, nightmare! Finally after deciding I had suffered enough embarrassment they left me alone and moved on.
I also asked to start tasting my food so they bottle fed me for the first time, and I took to it like a duck to water! It was ace! I have also been given a dummy which I can tomp tomp on all the time.
In the afternoon I had a bit of fun, whilst having a cuddle with my dad I delivered him a big present. Luckily for him I let him have a pillow between him and me so the pillow got it big style! I can be so thoughtful when I want to. Anyway, what a palaver, but great fun!
They also wanted another wee pot to double check my last wee results (These doctors are sooo weird), so I later delivered accurately again. My mum let out a big cheer much to the amusement of the nurses. Silly mum, it was only a wee!
Later in the afternoon they asked me to train some more medical students. I think I frightened them a bit because the boys were very nervous when laying their hands on me, but it may have been because my dad was watching. Well he can't be there all the time!
My nurse today was Diane and Tess at night and I was too busy to misbehave. I had a really nice evening, I had my new dummy in my mouth and was holding hands with my mum and dad until I dozed off. A real magic moment!

Hi Hannah
I'm a friend of your mum and dad's. We've been reading all about you - you're certainly a little fighter- can't imagine where you get that determination from! Don't worry about that spot on your chin - i'm sure you'll grow up to be as gorgeous as your mum. Give mum and dad a big hug from us and when you're all better we'll have a lovely day out together.
Lots of love
Phil, Helen, Patrick and William
