Friday 7th September

My nurse is Helen, it is her last day for a while. They have a plan and they are trying to keep it hush hush!

They have taken my oxygen away! How dare they? I am off the ventilator and have got to breath for myself, they have put a small goldfish bowl over me to help, they say it is an oxygen tent. I think my dad took the goldfish to have with his chips at lunchtime. I have started to cry a little bit as well, a new trick that gets attention quick! With proper noise and everything.

Thats it, I am on my own now until my operation, whenever they decide to do it?

Helen is not falling for my other trick, it is called Tomp Tomping. It always works on my mum. Tomp Tomping involves opening and closing my mouth quickly and sometimes sticking my tongue out (A bit like Maggie Simpson but without the dummy). The action makes a noise that is called Tomp Tomping, it is my call for food! Even after a marathon Tomp Tomp Helen did not buckle, she is sticking to the feed times. It is not fair!

My dad's friend Jamie came to visit today, he nearly fainted when he saw the pictures of me at my christening. Even at my age I have developed the ability to knock grown men off their feet. My dad is worried! And so he should be!

My Uncle Andrew and Great Nana also came today and they all had pizza. Nice! I didn't get any but they said I could return to full feeds overnight. Ace, the Tomp Tomping did work!

Matt is looking after me again tonight and my mum and dad have gone to bed.
