Tuesday 4th September

Today my nurse is Sharon again. Still no food! Time to get them jumping to attention again! If they feed me I will behave, if they don't I won't!

I have now moved house, I no longer have my own room and I have to share! Share!!!

My cot is now in the main unit opposite my old room, another baby needed isolation so I got booted out. But I don't mind because I have got a better view and I can keep my eye on what they are all doing. There has been a big meeting at the end of my cot this morning, lots and lots of doctors talking about me! How cool! They want to try and get me off the ventilator today, but they haven't fed me, when will they learn?

I found something out today. Last Thursday my grannies let everyone know about my christening. About ten to six my cousin Andrew, my great auntie Judith, my great auntie Susan and my great uncle Dennis burst into the Intensive Care Unit. My cousin Andrew had thought grandma Gwen had said to come to Liverpool. Oops! I think it was sweet though.

My room was a bit small so they couldn't come in for my christening. I would have granted them an audience after the ceremony if I had known they were there, but they had gone. These adults better start learning quick that they can't keep things from me, I will find out!

I think cousin Andrew was in trouble. He He! One click of my fingers and they all come running. They did buy me a Tiger called Aurora (I read his name on the label), my dad says it is a sign as their room in Ronald McDonald House is called Aurora.

Tonight my nurse is called Matt. Matt? I am still on the ventilator, I was crying so much so they fed me. I win! They say they will try again over the next few days, hmmm I think they need to offer me a carrot to help pursuade me. I decided to behave all night for Matt.

Hello Hannah. My name is Helen, the same as your nurse but I'm not lucky enough to be there with you. I'm Grandma Gwenda's friend and I'm in the North East so it's really handy to catch up on your antics by reading your blog. I hope some day you will come and visit me here with your Grandma, Grumpy, Mummy and Daddy. You can come and stay and we'll all go to the seaside. Keep growing stronger and give them a run for their money! Let's hear it for the girls! Lots of love and God Bless. Helen x

I just wanted to say, I hope you keep getting stronger as one day it would be great for you and I and my cousins, Naomi & Anna and Emily to all get together and play. Just like our mummy's used to do.
Take Care and God Bless.

hi hannah! my name is naomi and my aunty gwenda is your grandma. i wish you were't in hospital but mummy read your computer book to me and your nurses sound very nice. you sounded hungry so i think you should ask your mummy to bring you a happy meal from ronald mcdonalds house. now she is staying there she should be able to get one. the nugget one is best. i have got a big teddy that i bought for you before you were born. when you get better i will come and see you and bring him to you. my sister anna likes him because he is so soft. she keeps trying to pinch him, but don't worry i am protecting him for you. can't wait to meet you. lots of love from naomi parker. xx

Dear Hannah, I am your grandad “grumpys” cousin and we are very upset to hear that you are feeling poorly and we are thinking of you constantly.
Keep up the fighting spirit, you have to keep those lovely nurses and doctors on their toes, as you have already learnt, grown ups are only there to pamper all your needs and demands. (Remember your dad and grandad’s will be the easiest and you will get everything you want!!!!)
Keep writing this blog, as I know this will make your mum and dad even more proud of your spelling.
Get well soon and lots of love from the Arfurs in Bournemouth XXXXXXXXX
