Saturday 13th October

Today is my nana's birthday, I have been practicing my counting but have not yet got off one hand so I think I have a bit more work to do.

I love Saturday's. I had the bestist day today, it began with a lowish point, the pink ladies came to visit me and pinched some of my blood again!

I then performed the biggest shimmy seen on the top of K2 for a long time. My nurse put on some numb numbing cream ready for me to have my stitches removed. After a couple of hours the surgeons came to remove them but I dropped my shoulder and sold them a corker of a dummy. Because I had a secondary chest closure the surgeon said I should wait a few more days before removing the stitches. Ace!

Sports Saturday then commenced starting with Football Focus and then the Golf. I sat in my bouncy chair to watch the football and I was very pleased at the result. I was so pleased I performed a few big beams for my Grumps, the first ones he has seen in real life! I noticed he had tears in his eyes, they must have been tears of happiness as his and my favourite player Wayne Rooney had ended his international drought!

The day got even better, at night I watched Strictly Come Dancing with my mum and my Grandma Gwen, then the Rugby with my dad! How good is that! The day was topped off by my mum camping out on top of K2 with me! Great!

I was looked after in the day by Paula and my mum at night. Fran the nurse at night bought me a spot of Viagra to mix with a couple of other medical delicacies to help my mum a bit!

Hi Hannah

It may be the drugs, but i think you meant to say that Stevie G was your favourite player?

Glad to hear that you are getting better, love to all

Dear Hannah

Nana wishes to send the following blog as computer technology has not yet reached Horseshoe Ave Cafe!!!

She hopes you are well and can't wait to see you as soon as you are well enough. She also says thank you for the lovely card and plant that you, your Mummy and Daddy sent her for her birthday.

PS I strongly recommend that when are well, you call into Horseshoe Cafe - it is the cheapest and best in town!!!

Lots of love Nana and a bit of help from Cousin LisaXXXXX
