Thursday 11th October

I am now ready to start my skiing career again. Even though I am intravenous free, the doctors had still left 2 'drips' in me just in case. One in my hand and one in my foot. With the drips come the splints so the drips don't get damaged. Now completely splint free and drips out I have donned my ski suit (white baby grow) and I am ready to take on the best the top of K2 can throw at me, black runs, green runs or pink ladies!

My friends at the Royal Mail have been busy, they have delivered a card especially for me all the way from the Black Country! (Well Rugely, but it sounds more exotic!) Many Thanks to Ray & Loretta for organising the delivery against all the odds!

I have uncovered a secret today, my mum and dad have bear napped one of my fluffy toys. Many weeks ago they intercepted a gift destined for me, a nice white fluffy bear, it has been living in Ronald MacDonald House all this time. Dispicable behaviour! I would like to say a belated thanks to Cotty & Ang for the bear who I have decided to call Goodthings because I was made to unjustly wait to see him. I am not sure Cotty & Ang will see this because t'internet has not fully arrived in Chapel yet (I know my friend Alfie can use it because he sent me a nice message, but he is a special little boy!) so it would be nice if someone in Dove Holes could send a smoke signal or bang the jungle drums to pass on my gratitude! Thanks!

I was looked after today by Tracey in the morning, Naomi in the afternoon and Tracey (the night shift Tracey not the same one as this morning) at night. I stepped up from 2 hourly to 3 hourly feeds and everything and I wasn't sick once! (But the couple of fixes of horse tranquilliser I got helped as well!)
