I think my opportunities of taking part in the 2012 Olympics have taken a knock today. The doctors have given me Steroids! Steroids! There is no way the judges will let me take part, I was well up for throwing the hammer (I have been practicing with my dummy).
I have been allowed a dummy again as I have now come off my ventilator. I had to pass a little test of breathing into the cold ventilator wind first, but I passed with flying colours! I am now breathing all on my own. They did put me in the goldfish bowl for an hour but I have been there and done that before so I told the doctors to take me out of it, and they did! What Power! For info, the steroids were to help me come off the ventilator. Honest!
I have been busy over the last couple of weeks hunting for the top of K2 bullies who took my specs before, and I have succeeded! I am now the proud owner of a pair of oxygen specs again, I look very intellectual!
My worries about my Grandma Rita's eyesight have increased, she didn't even notice that I didn't have my ventilator in when she came to see me today! I have asked her if she wants my specs when I have finished with them. My price is a meat and potato pie!
My rehab is going well, I am playing to the rules at the moment and have behaved well since coming off the ventilator. I have been looked after by Dave today and by Sajil at night and I had a good nights sleep with only a bit of crying which I stopped when they gave me my dummy!

Dear Hannah,
Probably don't remember us but we meet you at Sian and Andrew's wedding when you were 12 days old. I am sure the Scousers are looking after you despite your allegiance to that other "team".
We will keep following your progress and send our love to you and your Mummy and Daddy.
love
Hammers Paul and Scouse Shelagh XXXX ( Sian's mummy and daddy)
