Sunday 7th October

Today I got to cuddle my mum! Nice! The nurses on ICU organised it for me as a reward for doing well and being good.

However on the ward round this morning (the doctors morning meeting) the doctors told me they had received some complaints from the neighbours. Apparently I had been making too much noise crying overnight! What do they expect? I have got a weeks worth to catch up on, and I am in rehab! They have decided to evict me from Intensive Care, how dare they? I am being sent to HDU (High Dependency Unit) for a night out!

I was so shocked at my treatment I cried all the way down the corridor to HDU, but I was happy really because it means I am getting better and I had never been in there before!

I was looked after in ICU by Sarah and I have been christened a 'Drama Queen' by the ICU sisters because of my high volume demands for nappy changes. Cool!

My mum and dad have received a note from the Liverpool Mafia! I have found out that one of the nurses on top of K2 was at my friends Sian and Andy's wedding which I attended before my Alder Hey adventure began. The note said hello and maybe a few strings could be pulled to get me anything I want to help me get better and to make my stay as comfortable as possible. A few sedatives wouldn't go a miss! Brilliant and thanks to Sian for using her mafia connections for me!

I was looked after by Louise in the afternoon and Kate at night and I behaved well apart from a couple of customary hissy fits!
